I don’t find Black Skimmers in my area. This small group I found in the Florida Keys

a few years ago.

Love taking bird photos! Here are two from yesterday when a pair of Eastern Bluebirds were checking out the bird house I put up for Bluebirds (hopefully). Last week I saw a Chickadee checking it out but never saw it take up residence. So yesterday the Bluebirds were in and out of it and then a pair of Chickadees started harassing the Bluebirds! They must have put a deposit on it and had not moved in yet? It was quite entertaining to say the least. And I was glad to have set my Sony A6500 to burst mode! Download the first image to see the Chicadee chasing the male Bluebird.

Camera Sony A6500 aperture priority, min shutter speed set to 1/1/000 Auto ISO (10,000 actual). No noise reduction applied yet. Lens was Sony FE 200-600G which works out to a 300-600mm on the A6500. Love this lens for birding!

These few pictures definitely feature birds of the same feathers.
firstly, male and female Mallard Ducks., next Snowgeese, all birds of a feather.
The last picture a lone Snowgoose with Canadas, all geese, but not of the same feather.

For this challenge I fall back on one of my favorite subjects: all about birds. These photos can be of birds in flight, birds on the water, birds alone or birds in flocks, bird's eggs, bird's feathers--all things birds. Looking forward to your contributions!

p.1 Thanks for hosting, Kat. I will hunt up a few. Birds R U! You have some wonderful bird shots.
