I did about 15 years ago when I was learning by trial and error.., The elephants are a statue from my sisters and the trees were on the way to her place. I made the background myself..

Love, love, love it! Strong graphical forms and simple colors - outstanding, Val. Did you ever print it?

Wow, Thank you very much Linda. I never printed it as I thought it was a bit childish.. I always saw the tree when I went to see my sister and wanted to do something with it. As I said it is about 15 years ago I did it but never got rid of it as I liked it..

Great graphic art image. I'd use it on a commercial website for which it was suited.

I question the exact point when a photograph becomes a graphic image work of art. No offense intended, but I think this has crossed the line from a photograph to a graphic image. A beautiful one, though!

Hi Andy, no offence taken. Glad you think it beautiful. I know there are two photos in the picture as the tree is flipped and I made the background I think that is why I had not posted it before. Just digging through the archives like every one else

I'd use it commercially, it's really well done. I don't have the "eye" for simplified graphic images like this - it's similar to but distinct from the ability to "see" a good photograph because it has to be simplified down to its elements - line, color, form, etc. I'm betting the source photos were well done, too.

Not childish at all. That's one hell of a good production. Thanks for sharing.
