Wowsa, Phil, this one hits all the right notes for me: the varying patterns of breaking waves, a strong leading line of beach to a mysterious end, the foreground angle and textures, the minimal hand of man... Love it!

600 pixels rarely does a photo justice. Plus, the larger the uploaded file, the more it's compressed for the thumbnail view.

Phil you have done it. The capture matches my memory exactly. I know exactly where you were standing and have stood there myself many times when I was a binocular birder. Thanks for posting you have made my day and probably my month.
