Did I buy wrong tripod support for my push-pull Nikkor 80-200 F2.8?

Purchased this on ebay but it differs from those shown in youtube instruction video. Can't seem to make it fit so far. Lens is AF.

Perhaps so. I have that same lens and a Kirk mount, but it’s different from the ebay photo. Here’s a couple phone shots of mine for comparison. Maybe this helps you sort it out.

Thank you, that's the one shown in the instruction video. Will be returning mine and continuing my search.

The seller notes in the description that it must be an "older" version of the bracket...Sounds like the seller hasn't used it...My 80-200 F2.8 AF is the 2 ring version and has the foot, not that that foot is that great...

It is the older version. Contacted seller, and he responded quickly with photos and instructions about mounting it. Bracket must be partly disassembled and reassembled on the lens. Incredibly small parts, but haven't lost any yet and hope to get it operational today.
