Photographed at Buraeo das Araras, Brazil, known for its nesting Macaws. The sink hole was in dark shadows and with the sun hitting the birds just right, I was happy with the shot.

It is magical. Probably the only place on earth you walk out on an extended platform and get to shoot the birds from eye level or above. Very tricky light, deep shadows and bright sunlight with moving birds. Learned to up my game and change setting on the fly.
