Aloha CanonChic and welcome to the UHH. From your handle I presume you use a Canon camera. What kind of photos do you like to take -- portrait, landscape, pets, etc.?

Thanks, Pets, night shots, nature shots as in sunsets, ocean, outdoors etc, and candid shots mostly. Portrait is something I have not embarked on yet, but would like to do so.

Welcome. If you haven't noticed already, there's several specialty sections that specializes in specific subject matter. Go to the bottom of any page and you'll see "All Sections." Click on that and go down the list of different sections, visiting those where you perceive an interest.
