Panoramas from an AMTRAK tour
In 2013 I took a 9-day AMTRAK tour from Chicago, Illinois to Seattle, Washington with 4 days in Glacier National Park, Montana and Canada. I took a lot of photos, of course, and created several nice panoramas from some of them. (Click on them for full resolution)

(Pritzker Pavilion) is by far the best of this series and even beats the other one you posted.

The fish eye effect works really well within the image.

Thank you very much. I agree that it is a very striking image, but it was compiled from several photos made with an 18-200VR lens (at 18mm)--no "fisheye" involved.

One question... In some of your panoramas, have you considered correcting the curvature?

Yes, I have, but I don't know how (and probably don't have the application to do it). Most of my old panoramas were created using Autostitch, which is a great tool and very easy to use, but does not have any "correction" features. For post-processing I use LR, which has a "Distortion" slider--however, it alters both vertical and horizontal lines so I can't use it to correct curvature. I also have PS, of course (I'm a subscriber) but I've never used it and have no idea what it could do for me.

I have used the LR panorama tool for a few of my newest panoramas, but it also creates curvature.

PS CC can do it for you. There is a slew of options under 'edit' and transform section.

Another set to enjoy. Againm confirms what I pike about panoramas
They put each image in context; they capture what the eye sees
Curvature - DxO can straighten images. PTGui also can I do believe.

Note: Curvature is not a bas thing. I just does not work for all images so no need to go bonkers trying to fix it.

To each their own, only the end product count - according the one who makes it - not the viewer.

Rongnongno and BboH, Thanks for viewing and the suggestions. I have discovered that LR does have a "Perspective" option for its panorama function, and it does correct the curvature to a great extent. I will use it when I think it helps the image. I'm new to the "photo merge" function in LR, and there have been some improvements in it recently.
