27-minute video.
The articulation starts at 4:10.
So far, this is the best articulation of 4014 that I've seen so far.

There is another Big Boy being restored in Scranton Pa. Last time I was there, it was under tight security due to a major asbestos problem. The train barn is heavily locked down and the asbestos problem was not expected to be so bad. I hope to see it up and running the next time I go there.

I wonder if the tender is not more of a problem on those tight corners than the engine itself. And, those tracks right there looked pretty sketchy.

I don't know.
The crew seems more concerned with the front of the locomotive and the drivers.

An observation at the 12:19 thru 12:30, looks like the second driver has something coming out of a line right in front where the wheel meets the rail. I think this is a flange oiler (just guessing).

Best I can tell, all drivers have flanges ( I was thinking there may have been some blind drivers in the middle).

All the wheels on the tender appear to have flanges.

Not sure what you saw there, but some of those drivers seemed to be just barely on the rail.

Great video, the zoom lens on the video camera makes it look real sharp. Interesting at about 5:22 how the front drivers shifted over. Also the close up of the engineer he was working the independent brake to keep the locomotive at a crawl. Most of the weight is on the back set of drivers, and you will see videos of the Challenger where the front drivers will loose traction and spin but the back set won't. I'm sure the Big Boy is the same where the front will spin before the back since this is not a compound engine.
