A little chapel on the prairie on the trans-canadian highway
Very nice image, Rusty. The golden hour glow you captured there is perfect!

Gorgeous! The light is amazing!
If I might make a suggestion about the composition. The chapel is pretty much dead center of the image and there are a lot of other things that are going on in the frame (flowers and clouds) which compete for your attention. I might suggest a slightly tighter crop and an offset in centering to the image's right (since the chapel is facing to the left) to draw more attention to the chapel and make the composition more interesting and dynamic. You do not lose a sense of "place" but draw more attention to the main subject and less to its surroundings.
Great shot, rusty nails and nice crop SMPhotography
Thank you SM looks a lot better to take out some of the distractions
A beautiful image beautifully processed.

Actually .. the IMHO gives an almost 3D effect .., depth and surreal regal heavenly look as the church steeple points towards the heavens and the blue sky that opens above ,.. the further back the church is the better the depth and perspective .. rule of 1/3 doesn’t work here for me and isn’t a set in concrete rule anyway ..
I have herein posted the original shown as (Download).., The SM photo .., and a 3rd option I did the sort a rule 1/3rds.., all to show IMHO that the original rusty nail shot is good as is and is not just a drink made with Drambuie ..😎
