One i hav'nt posted before.....

...This morning Robertjerl posted some lovely photos of some Humming birds.We do'nt have them over here as far as i know anyhow but we do have Hummer moths which is something else i did'nt know until August last year when i was taking pics in my daughters garden in Cumbria when i spotted a Hummer moth,the first time i've ever seen one in my life.I took some panic shots which did'nt turn out at all so i picked the best one and had a play with it in Topaz clean and came up with this one which is'nt the best pic in the world but it was a first for me.Here goes.

Well done. No, hummingbirds are a new world bird. A lot of them in the States and a few in Canada but many more and about 200 species or more in Central and South America.

A very nice photo angler. I had no idea that the UK or Europe for that matter did not have any hummingbirds. Thanks for sharing this little tidbit.
