I bought this refurbished in 2015. By the way, I buy refurb whenever I can. Nikon D750, Nikon D500 and Nikon D5500. Better than new in my estimation because they've been gone through thoroughly at the factory. I forgot that I had it until I saw the UHH member yesterday that was looking to replace his. I haven't used it for a couple of years. It was my go-to camera for a number of vacations because of it's compact size, ease of use and great telephoto capabilities. I've taken some great shots with this camera and it's always served me well with never a problem. It looks like new and operates the same. I've just got too many cameras. It's a weakness of mine. Besides the three that I mentioned I also have a Nikon A900, a Sony MKIV, a Sony A6000 and an Olympus TG5. I treat all of my cameras the same and try to keep them like new. As you can see from the photos it's in wonderful condition and works as well as when I bought it. It comes with a hard "Eveready" case. I only used the bottom portion to protect the camera from getting scratched. It also comes with 3 "Canon" batteries and charger. I purchased the lens hood and lens caddy also. And last but not least is the soft "Case Logic" that houses the camera perfectly. I'll let it go for $285 and I'll pay shipping and insurance.

$200 seems fair for a camera that old. I bought a used SX60 with extra batteries for around $150.

Where I come from, if I don't agree with the asking price, I'd make a counter offer. As far as what it's worth, that all comes down to condition and accessories. You could buy, for example, a '57 Chevy for $7500 or buy a pristine one for $50,000. Like I said WessoJPEG, make me an offer, although I don't think your intention here is to purchase this camera, but thanks for your 2 cents worth.

With the camera, the accessories you are including and the roughly $20 in shipping/insurance, your price is just about perfect for someone who understands what they’re getting. I have sold a number of them in the last two years for from $280 to $320. I took one to Costa Rica instead of my 5Dsr and would do it again.

Thanks for the voice of reason Rich. The PO told me about $25 for shipping and insurance. That brings the price of the camera down to $260. Three Canon NB-10L batteries are $54, $10 for the lens hood, $15 for the Everready case and $15 for the "Case Logic" case you're looking at about $170 for the camera.

I agree! My SX50 is a great little camera. It is a fantastic camera for travel. These cameras are hard to find because very few who own one, want to part with it. The price is very fair considering all the included accessories!
