I looked over my archives for the past couple of years and didn't find many sunstar shots. Here's one of them - taken with my old D7500 and Tamron 18-400 which isn't supposed to be able to create good stars - guess whoever said that was wrong!

After a 10 mile hike I took a nap on a rock with my head resting on my pack. The glare from the sun woke me so i shot it.

Here's another taken with that Tamron 18-400 that isn't supposed to create nice stars at f/14.
