Super captures! Wish we were allowed to have bird feeders in our condo complex. I have to shoot at a friend's feeders. I am able to unobtrusively hang a hummingbird feeder though.

#1 is my absolute favorite, sharp and great background. The quality of the others a very good, I just prefer not seeing anything artificial.

Great photos. Haven't set up our feeder the last few years. You are encouraging me to do it!
The 200-500 is a great lens and much less weight/$$$ than a 500mm f/4 prime. Got mine used for $1000 cash, a Best Buy lens with warranty card a few months after purchase - via ebay and cash transfer at a local shopping center.

If you can catch some hummers with their wings frozen, then you will be leapfrogs ahead of a lot of us. This will be a great opportunity for you to practice high speed shooting.
