I grabbed this tree last Sunday after one of our rare (for this winter) snows.

Yes, on the abandoned farm.

Wonderful old tree!

I call this ''The Four Tree Farm''. Used to have a barn and another smaller building out back and apparently the owners passed away and a flukey kid of theirs took it over and left it there. The ruins are hidden under the snow

It makes a good minimalization image Jim.

This is what is known as a ''sugar snow''. The trees are full of snow and by day's end the snow has melted and the sap is running good. Always looked forward to by sugarers, they'll be boiling late. Fond memories for me for sure

Pretty images, I love the real maple syrup.

A retired tree who has taken place on the riverside along with a great view and it invites us to sit there on it to catch the sunset.

A great spot to sit, especially in warmer weather!

I have a favorite tree back in Illinois farm country, no photographs in winter (yet) since we relocate for warmer weather... Here's my tree from September & October 2019....

I like 1 the most Jan.

While traveling, trees have always drawn me as most are all new, like yours there. I remember spending the night next to one like that in Breaux Bridge, LA
