Purchased Oly OMD M1 MIII - lens question

Hello! I just purchased the new Oly M1 MIII camera.

I also purchased the 12-100mm Pro lens https://www.getolympus.com/us/en/lenses/pen-omd/m-zuiko-ed-12-100mm-f4-0-is-pro.html and the 45mm Pro lens https://www.getolympus.com/us/en/lenses/pen-omd/m-zuiko-ed-45mm-f1-2-pro.html.

I am undecided about buying one of the following two lenses.
https://www.getolympus.com/us/en/lenses/pen-omd/m-zuiko-ed-7-14mm-f2-8-pro.html
https://www.getolympus.com/us/en/lenses/pen-omd/m-zuiko-ed-8mm-f1-8-fisheye-pro.html

I have mostly done environmental portraits, macro and travel shots. I just started night photography. In Iceland, one woman had the fisheye for her Canon and the aurora pictures she took looked amazing. That said, I live in Rochester NY where we mostly have clouds and very little auroras - but we do have stars and some nights without clouds.

I think I would get more use out of the 7-14mm but the fisheye looks like fun!

Does any one have either or both of these lens? Would you share their pluses and minuses please?

Thank you in advance. Linda S.

I own the Oly 7-14 but not the other. It is a fine bit of glass. I am certainly pleased with my copy. Very versatile zoom range for landscape or real estate type shots. I first rented a copy for a three week vacation to make sure it was what I wanted. You might consider that approach before deciding.

Thank you pesfls. I would consider renting both of them except I was hoping to save some money if someone said something negative about one or both of them...sometimes I get excited (impulsive) and wanted to shorten the purchasing cycle!

I love my Canon 16-35mm and was hoping to replicate the results...then again fisheye looks so creative. Until I sell most of my Canon gear and most of the camera bags, I certainly cannot get both!

I useLens Rentals. They are reliable. I’ve not used any of there competitors so can’t comment on them. LR will offer to sell to you at the end of your rental period and quote a price at that time. They operate their own warranty system and repair facility. You may save some $ in that manner. I have the Nikon 16-35 and know what you mean. But for travel the smaller Olys are so much more convenient.
