Would like your opinion Guys.. Want to print one up. Thanks.....
I really wish the angle was different in number one, because I love the detail in the closeup but can't tell what it is exactly, from the current perspective.
So I'm going with number two.

Actually, neither. Here's the rub, as my masseuse once said. It took me a few seconds of bouncing back and forth between the two to see that you were next to some railroad tracks. I would come up a bit on the vantage point to actually show the rails and ties to reinforce that visual a bit - then have them paralleling (oooh, I just invented a new word) into the distance. I think you can make use of the apparent curve in th tracks to add visual interest, and not just have two rails going off into the distance, which is not all that interesting. Here's what I mean as to boring, and your spot has the advantage of being potentially much more interesting.

#2 I think it is more in the rule of thirds and shows the intent of the shot. I agree with JimH as you should always show detail of the actual subject and you should have came up a bit to grab it... Nice wide angles though. Thanks for sharing!
#2 for depth, which I like
I think that the clouds are the main subject..
The rail and rail-bed are leading lines that take you into the frame and to the subject without distracting from it...
Actually I was shooting the clouds and really like the contrast between the tracks and sky. Got down on my belly to fill the frame and give depth..

Ah, yes! Very true! I'm new at the whole outdoor photography. I forget about the leading lines!

Actually, if you'll forgive my suggestion, I'd like to see the sky from #1 on the #2 photo and crop it a bit to bring the converging parallels away from the center. It's an easy change in PS.
Both are very good photos, though.
By the way, I'm always shooting clouds for the express purpose of using them to replace a bald sky or less interesting cloud formations.
Where did you shoot this?
Just a suggestion....

In the first one, you're a bit tilted..
If you don't mind my meddling... here it is straightened and a slight warming filter applied..
Got this in Lake Placid Florida. Watched the clouds all day while working. Got off of work in time to get a few shots before they disappeared. PS Liked your Suggestion..
