I haven't been shooting much recently and it's allowed me to edit some photos I passed over or just did a cursory job on. Editing can be such a time suck and after a while, you can look at your efforts and say, "What was I thinking", only to reset and start over. These shots from under a shade tree were a mixed lot. Most were great poses with major failing on my part, focusing on the trunk rather than the model, or pulling some motion into a shot. In the few that I did like, the natural color of the foliage had a sickly yellow cast. So in these examples, I pulled the hue of the greens toward blue, to get that surreal, emerald color in the grass and leaves. My model at the time was getting ready for a shoot that required the wacky hair color and I like the contrast of the grass and hair color.
The juxtaposition of the smooth skin and the rough textured bark is an interesting sharp contrast. The red of the hair and fingernails contrasted to the green of the vegitation is striking.

The first one's actually quite a good pose. I think though, if the left arm was bent more flush to the tree and the other arm more visible, you would be on to something. Elbows pointing straight at the camera seldom work, though the setting you have chosen works well with this kind of photography.
Like her pose & facial expression in #1, with the over-saturated colors working well with the green-red contrast, although the blue-green definitely shows up in the bark & shadows. #2 has too much stuff showing... in the background, etc.
I love the set the "muse" is rockin it . you're always evolving with your photography
They are lovely. And obviously loving! Congrats.

I think image 3 is the most interesting. Pose, color and texture bring it all together.
