Three good ones here Tim! Ocean City, MD has several outdoor bars that are dog friendly!

I can see why you feel the way you do about that second one, it sure does speak volumes.

They are all "kinda" nice, but all of them are also underexposed!

Thank you. I'm learning, so I do appreciate your consideration and comment. These were all converted to BnW and I'll agree I'm struggling with that....I think I prefer color or grey scale as opposed to BnW.

Sue really does an excellent job with her B&W renditions, which
always seem to work well with her street photography, so I figured
I'd see if they worked on these...

Uh, YES they do! These are great Tim! The whole converting thing would SEEM to be easy, but it's really not!

As Sue points out it's legal to take photos in a public area. Look up "reasonable expectation of privacy". However, It seems that in this case the person taking the photos are using them to advertise their occupation in a brochure. In other words they are making money from the photo their caretaker took. My understanding is, If you use images of people to make money or advertise a company WITHOUT written permission you've open yourself up for a lawsuit.

Just yesterday I had my granddaughter at the park & taking photos when some asked me NOT to include her child in any of the photos. I insured her that I would not.

Hope this helps a little.

Absolutely - one must honor the desires of others, especially where children are involved. We have a Facebook page for our church and pictures containing children of the congregation are sometimes posted. I have a rock firm policy of NEVER including their names, and for that matter adults are never identified unless they are officers of the church.

I have not tried street photography before. Just not good at taking pictures of people. So I bundled up and went on my river walk today. There are usually a lot of people walking kids or dogs or just running. There were not a lot of people out and about today. I did get two though.

Nice! It usually gets easier the longer you do this.

I'm surprised the cops didn't confront you for taking their picture. Disconcerting or not, it's a great street photo.
