This is a profile of my preserved Green Stink Bug. I have taken several views of it over time and it is one of my favorite for staging and processing.
This is a focus stacked image with several hundred images in the stack and processed with Zerene Stacker. The camera setup and illumination are the same as used and described in previous image posts.
As always, thanks in advance to all who view and for your comments, suggestions, questions and critique.
This is a really cool shot Gary. A very different perspective. Great lighting as always. Well done!

Thanks for viewing and for the feedback, Doc. I'm just trying to make the most out of what specimens that I have as I wait for winter to pass.

I know what you mean. I can't wait for spring in DE so I'm headed for Florida State to help with a dragonfly survey in April.

Oh Doc, that sounds like would be wonderful for you to be in warmer weather surrounded by wonders of nature conducting studies of your passion. I know that you will share your experiences and images of your studies with us all.
For me, I'll just get another cup of coffee and turn the thermostat up a bit..!
Thanks for viewing and the feedback.

Great light and detail.
Thanks, Jeff. I use translucent plastic drink cups that I get at the bowling alley to diffuse the lights. It gives me a reason to get a few beers and when the 'Better Half' gives me the old fisheye, I tell her that I am only drinking the beer so that I can have the cup..!
Really nice, lovely colour.

Thanks, Brenda. Of course I have shared different images of it before and it is one of my favorites to experiment with.
