I keep an assortment of things to be used as props for photography sessions such as pieces of bark, twigs, leaves, moss, and whatever looks like it would be interesting as I am sure that many others keep things also.
This is a little red berry that has dried up since summer and I thought that it would make an interesting study of color and texture. It is the same berry and leaves that I used for the Horsefly shot attached. You can see how the berry went from hard brown to plump red to that of a dried red hard shriveled berry now.
As always, thanks in advance to all who view and for your comments, suggestions, questions and critique.

berry good!
Thanks, Tinusbum. Just something to do to pass another cold, grey damp day.
The download on the second is well worth seeing.

Thanks, Brenda. The dried berry was a study in color and textures although the Horsefly was more of a study of the details of what can be a quite annoying insect with an "Ouch..!" bite.
