Toadstalls or mushrooms. any ideas.
Pulled over 60 of these from my lawn a few weeks ago and saw some pictures in the textures underneath.
Are they mushrooms or toadstalls?
Non manipulated but if you want to mess with them feel free

I don't know, but you seem like a.... fungi.
They are mushrooms...the kind you pulled up usually grow in a loosely formed circle in the lawn after a rain, esp if the lawn has a heavy thatch under the green of the blades of grass...The circle is called a "fairy ring" and supposedly one can observe the fairies dancing within the ring at midnight on a full moon..or so I've been told..They do afford some interesting shots...I love taking pics of the mushrooms...Toad stools is a name given some of them much as the fairy ring...Linda

I don't know what distinguishes one from another, but I love the way they pop up unexpectedly, show off and then disappear quietly!
