Yeah - The chain one is great!
Thank you John. Like minds! That is the photo that I ended up submitted!
The first one is a favorite of mine by far!
Thanks so much Katydid. That is the one that I gravitated to for my submission!

I Like them but think they may be judged as 'colour with a splash of black and white'. The first one is 50 / 50.
Good point. My teacher is ok with whatever amount of color or B&W I wanted to submit. Everything is cool! lol
These are all very nice, Brent. But the first one is awesome.
Thanks Cotondog. You are on board with everyone else! lol You have good taste!
Good call Tom.......that is my second favorite!
The first one seems to be the best one to apply this technique.
Good point Bob. You are in harmony with everyone else!
I like 1 the most.
photophile, you are in harmony with most everyone! Good call!
Thanks Bultaco.........you are in good company!
Nice processing, Brent.
Thanks jaymatt......it was fun! Half the fun is taking the photo and the other half is the processing!

Very nice set. The first one is excellent.
Thanks Jerry! I appreciate your comment!
I'm not sure of how you did this, Brent. Do you have a few instructional tips? I suppose it involves converting a color image to b&w and masking what you want to save in color. But I can make any easy process ten times harder...

Bit of creative thought in there Brent. I like 'em.
Put me down for numero uno. The composition is as compelling as the gradual addition of color. Nicely done.
Yes, the splash of color is much more colorful than a full color photo. It is the Texas Pete in the bland B&W soup.
Nicely done. So let us know how you did on the assignment, OK?
