Thanks for looking and commenting. It was my first attempt at basketball from the floor. Hopefully not my last. One of the girls in the pictures is a friend of mine’s granddaughter.

I always find it tuff to get the color balance right in notoriously poorly lit gyms. These look really good.

You won’t believe this. I used a Sony a9 with a Canon 70-200 f/2.8 lens. I went through the whole range of white balance settings and the one that looked the best through the evf was.... wait for it...

Underwater auto. Go figure. Minor tweak in LR using white balance picker and this is what I got. Very accurate to what I remember. I shot in jpg also.

This is really nice work. My favorites are the close-up shots driving to the basket. White balance is excellent. In a gym there are many factors with outside lights, florescent lights, again good job.

Fabulous series Mi630... loving the forth image... epic pivotal moment... you caught the intensity and determination of this ball handler with compelling finesse... I'm blown away at the stellar acuity latent within this image... razor sharp and at only 1/500! That 70-200mm is rather amazing wide open at f/2.8! You certainly have become one with your kit... I'm impressed with your Sony...
