Gorgeous captures... maybe a little underexposed (which can be fixed in post-processing)... but beautiful!

I envy the fact that you've been there to enjoy that power and beauty in person!

Welcome to the group :)

don't take the camera to the Cave of the Winds unless well protected from the water and the same for the Maid of the Mist Boat tour of the falls.. Otherwise, should be ok.. Have a great time.. Awesome place for everyone to visit...

I grew-up there-- lived there all my life until 2002.

Great pics.
I used to like going on the "amid of the Mist" boat tour and taking pics of the Mighty Niagara

How did you protect your camera? I loved the trip up there and wish I could have stayed longer... The falls are so awesome... I have to say the Maid of the Mist boat tour was my favorite.. Took video with the camera and I play them often to relive the sound and the memory...

As Tilde posted your photos seem a bit underexposed, perhaps taken with a polarizing filter? You should be able to bring up the exposure in PP.

Looking forward to more soon.

Eric

ps Niagra is on my list to be experienced soon, hopefully within the next year. I have a waterproof camera to get the close up shots.

Eric, you will definitly need a waterproof camera for the shots.. I posted my pics on this thread to show how the camera got wet. I'm just glad it wasn't an expensive camera..

Shower cap works good on protecting your camera
