This building is visible from the major east west freeway as you past through Fort Worth.
I walked around the Omni Luxury Condominiums this morning trying to get pictures that did it justice. Wanted to show the building's angular corners with balconies. I felt it needed more than one shot to show the extreme architecture. The building was finished about 12 years ago.

There is something about the second angle that is especially appealing. The darks and lights together in the shaded side. You could have a field day with this one in b/w. Nice sky for it on this day.

I really enjoy architectural shots when they are interesting and creative. These are both. What a great subject!

Thanks for commenting Fergmark. I tried one in b&W didn't have the punch for me. The building has such unique color. This Place started out as just the rectangular Omni Hotel then some investors decided to add the condos on top and around. You can look them up on line and see the interior of a couple of the condos, Omni Condominiums.

See my remarks to Fergmark about the building and then look them up to see pictures of the interior. They are something else.
Thanks for commenting Carol. Doesn't look like a lot of people view this area of UHH.

I understand. I took it for a test run, and normal black and white conversions didn't do much for me. Now with some gradient map I got some interesting results.
I moved to Connecticut in 1985 from Fort Worth. The downtown area has radically changed since then. I remember the water garden as being its most interesting feature along with structures like the T&P building

Very nice shots! Talk about extreme retro-fitting, inserting the new into the old -- this is unique!

You are right, it needed more than just one or two angles ... nice captures!
