I acquired this a few months ago in a mixed purchase of used Sony stuff when I bought an a6000. (I subsequently traded that dandy little camera with 3 kit lenses on a Sony RX100 VI - primarily to halt a growing lust to seek fine glass for said a6000, although I was taking some pleasant pics with what I had. It's a sickness I'm trying to limit to my Canon fetish.)

Anyway, I tested this adapter, and it worked as advertised... unless I expected really fast auto-focus for every shot. Don't count on that. Particularly in low light. Still it's a way to use your Canon lenses for a while once you switch to Sony....I notice some are doing that. Not a long term solution, I'd think, but transitional. (The original owner used it with an A6000 and a Canon nifty-fifty for videography. No idea why.)

No, sorry. Thinking it probably wouldn't sell here, I just sent a really nice silver NEX-5R body with battery, charger, and installed flash to KEH. Their preliminary offer is only $63 for camera body and $29 for the flash - and they paid FED-EX. We'll see if they hold to that. No reason they shouldn't; other than a little scuff on the top, the thing is pristine and seems lightly used. With the right lens, it's as tiny as my new Sony pocket camera I just got from Mike's Camera - a MX-100 VI.

I'd even started an ad here thinking maybe someone into Sony E-mount stuff would like this thing for a back-up, or when they wanted to go really light, or when they wanted to shoot with 2 lenses without having to actually switch lenses on one body back and forth. Then decided there aren't many oddballs out there like me.

I really should have put my A6000 and 3 lenses here first, just to see if someone was looking for a fine older Sony E-mount. But seeing the used MX-100 VI at a heck of a price (the latter unusual in Mike's), I figured "aw, why bother?"

If, by chance, you're interested in the humble little NEX-5R body w/flash, off-brand battery, & in-camera charger (no lens), let me know. If KEH wants to trim their offer, and you want it for equal their offer plus shipping, I'd sure consider asking them to send it back. Here's a picture of the camera plus a quickie sample shot with it.

By the way, anyone who happens to read this thread and happens to get curious about the NEX-5R: It's gone.

Still have the Commlite adapter, however. Will happily hear offers.
