I saw a beautiful presentation today of someone's travel photos. They were edited in LR and she used a program on her Mac and also a program called IMovie to make the presentation. It consisted of her photos, and some short video clips, and had music synced to the photos. The program enable her to fade to black, add a Ken Burns type affect, and the ability to dissolve from one photo to another.
Is there a similar program for a Windows 10 PC?
Thanks

Which is closing up shop, unfortunately. There is another recent thread here with some details. Some people from Photodex are starting or have already started another company which will be subscription based. And not cheap. It may be worth it to buy ProShow Gold or Producer before it’s no longer available. Awesome program!!!!

Cyberlink Power Director............. Been using it for years............ IMO, one of the best out there. Made lots of people (and money) happy using this software.
Pro Show is great on a PC but they are going out of business in two more days, January 31st. They will be replaced by an on-line subscription service with a monthly charge that you can suspend for periods of non-use. All Pro Show productions will be downwardly compatible with the new program. You can find more info on the switch at photodex.com.

Powerpoint. I have been using it for about 15 years to make videos and presentations because I do a lot of them each month. I recently got on the speaking circuit for cactus & succulent clubs throughout the United States. Seems that every club has a club computer with Powerpoint on it, and all the big time speakers from cactus & succulent clubs/arboretums/horticulture clubs throughout the world use Powerpoint.

LR Classic will do a lot of that in the Slideshow module. It has basic tools for video clips. The Slideshow module will put video clips together alone or mixed with stills. Music can be added. Output from the Slideshow module is a standard video file (MP4). Within Windows 10 the Photos app can do more editing to that video.
My favorite is Premiere Elements, Adobe's consumer video editor. It has an ACR reader built in. You can edit RAWs in Lightroom and Premiere Elements will read the adjustments you make as you make your "slideshow". Output can be in 4K for the newer TV screens.

Been using Pro Show Gold for almost 15 years. "Won't leave home without it."
It's true that Photodex is moving towards a subscription based ownership, but owners of Pro Show or Producer may continue to use the software - just no longer supported.

Powepoint. Also you can go to filehippo.com and search under audio/visual. You’ll find freeware, shareware and commercial demos to your heart’s content.
I use Power Director also. There are lots of YouTube videos showing how to use it. It is very versatile. You can add video tracks, audio tracks, text, and special effects. I have made digital presentations using converted 8mm home movies, and they turned out great.
"Windows Movie Maker 2012 was/is doing that kind of work and is actually still available,.... "
You don't need bootleg Movie Maker from a third party. The important parts of video editing tools are built into Windows 10 in the same Windows app provided for photos.
