This battery was my newest back-up for a Sony A6000 I enjoyed for a few weeks. Took some nice landscapes and family event photos with it, then I found myself lusting for better glass for it, and I foresaw a trail a little like my Canon journey. Nope. Traded it today for a handy little RX100 VI. Limited, but fixed Zeiss glass, no lenses to buy. The EOS R (and T6s) have me sufficiently enslaved to the glass path.
As I understand it, this NP-FW50 battery fits other Sony cameras as well as the A6000. For example: A6500, A6300, A6400, A7, A7II, A7RII, A7SII, A7S, A7S2, A7R, A7R2, A55, A5100, and RX10. I suppose, if you have a Sony, you'll know if this is the right battery for you.
