HOLY MOLLY.....thanks. What a terrible day for their family to endure....unimaginable for me.!
He has been acting as a mentor and private coach for Sabrina Ionescu of the Oregon Ducks for the last two years. She is ranked as the top women’s player in the nation and expected to be drafted number one. Oregon just defeated Oregon State. She did not appear on the court until game’s start and played every minute. She had number 24 written on the heels of her shoes along with a heart. She dominated and cried at game’s end. How sad that Kobe’s wife is left behind with their other three girls. Tragic.
Sucks seeing something so avoidable happen.
The urge to show off by flying a helicopter in the fog to a kids event shows stupidity.
Guess he was too important to drive like the rest of the people at the event.
Only tragedy is that he killed his kid in the act.

My friend sent me this link to an amateur video of the last seconds before the crash. It is not verified, but the scenery matches what I saw from local broadcasts. It looks as though the chopper lost tail rotor function or control which led to crash. Really, really, SAD!

Are you implying that Bryant was flying the helicopter? He wasn’t.
Bryant was known for using a helicopter to fly to local events.
