The Cumbres and Toltec Scenic RR's 50th anniversary Historic Steam schedules involving 19th century engines and rolling stock,have been announced for this summer.

Will be taking a ride on that one next trip to Colorado. Will admit it's going to be tough to beat the Durango to Silverton. I have also ridden the White Pass & Yukon along with the Cass RR in W. Virginia. They were all a great experience.

I have ridden both the C&ts and the D&S more than just a few times and they are both great. With the C&TS having the edge in my opinion. I hope you get the chance to judge for yourself!!

What is really fun is to ride one of the C&TS special freights. I did that in about 1998 behind the 463...
