I am looking a reducing my camera gear since I am in semi-retirement mode.

I am a Nikon guy, but while as I was cleaning out my closet I picked up a Minolta Maxuum 5 film camera with a Promaster 28-105 zoom lens film camera that I bought at a thrift store for the camera case it was in.

I hadn't paid much interest in it, when I realized that it doesn't have any history I could trace but it appears to be a brand new camera. There is a roll of film in it and the replacement batteries are about $8 to $10 bucks.

Will the Promaster lens work on my Panasonic Lumix GX85 with some sort of an adapter ?

Checking online it looks like a high end price would bring about $50 for the camera and lens.

Any thoughts or information will be interesting about this system.
