First Look At Monument Valley...The Forrest Gump Shot

Mike thanks for your compliment!! I used three camera's on this trip and have only uploaded one camera and it had 854 images! My sister passed while we were gone and we will probably be leaving for southern California soon for services. Was busy today running errands and watching football so it may be a while.

Many thanks, James...you would thoroughly enjoy your time spent in M.V. M.V. scenery is special to this location and isn't found anywhere else and is worth the trip!!

No signs other than the Milepost 13 shown in the photo. There are numerous paved scenic pullouts every mile or so to accommodate capturing images like this.

Looking South.
In Google maps, during the day, look at traffic.
The Forrest Gump Spot will be red ( out in the middle of nowhere !)
Or Search for Forrest Gump Hill in Google maps.

Close to there is Goosenecks State Park.
Looks just like HorseShoe Bend ( except not crowded ). Think $5 fee per car.
