Free Sunday is here and it is the first of the year. Have to thank Leslie and Pat for the last of the old and first of the New Year’s challenges this past week. I have a few leftovers to kick off this one, so come on by and share some of your images or processing tips you may have come across. We can all use a little smartenen up from time to time. These are some images some of my relatives have shared with me this past year.

In line outside the Apple store in Austin to pick up Grandson's birthday present, a new iphone of course.

Brother in law took his grandson to Alaska and shared a shot of these door handles.

Granddaughter went to Sicily while studying in Italy and caught Mt. Etna smoking.

I took Liam and Sam on a tour of my favorite local shooting spots the other day - they took a lot of images which I haven't yet seen - here is one I took from that outing.

Those are pretty neat, Larry. Thanks for hosting - Mt. Etna is a few centuries old so I guess it can legally smoke, don't you think?

I expect a cow's head to come out the other end of that used-to-be-round bale!, Lovely pastoral scene.

Went to Portland with a friend last night to a reception for a photography exhibit. Afterwards, some city streets and playing with the lens ball my friend brought. Some folks still had their trees up and their outdoor lighting dressing up the wealthy neighborhood of very old homes. I'll save the "street" photos for an upcoming challenge.
