Absolutely it was. Especially seeing the president there in front of the cadets singing the National Anthem it made me feel good about the day and was uplifting.
The best part of the game as well for us Army fans.
Oh well, next year.

"GO ARMY! BEAT NAVY!"??? I thought Army only went to these games to bring hot chocolate and lunch to the Navy players. You mean to tell us that Army participates in the game? Huh!!!

Semper Fi brothers and sisters. Yes the USMC is part of the Navy Department and proud of it. But of course we are the Men's Department.

Enjoy the game. No matter who wins they will be America's best.

Actually Dennis it's the Army that makes sure the Navy has salt and butter for their popcorn as they are watching their movies aboard their ships. And you do know what it means for an aviator to be 'dual rated' don't you? In the Army it means you are rated in both rotary wing and fixed wing aircraft. In the Navy it means you can read and write!! Lol!! Just pulling your leg - . It was a good game where Navy finally broke Army's three game winning streak. Well played especially by Navy QB Perry. It truly is (was) a game offered up by America's best!! Do I dare say wait until next year???

I knew you were kidding. Actually I have no problem with the Army at all. If not for Marines who else would the Army have to look up to and idolize. Thank God the American military is once again the best military in the world.

How about Trump allowing a waiver for serving their duty after graduation to all the athletes who want to go professional. The service teams will be getting much better going forward.

The government has a serious investment in these folks, plus their skills are much needed in their military role. Don't think a waiver is a good idea.

The athletes must get approval from the defense secretary, and it requires them to eventually fulfill their military obligation or repay the costs of their education. If approved, the athlete must agree to return to the military and serve their enlistment time, which is usually five years. While in the pro sports job, the athlete’s waiver would be reviewed every year. If the athletes can’t pass required medical standards when it is time to rejoin the military, then they are “encouraged” to serve in a civilian post within the department for no less than five years. If they choose not to do that they would be subject to repayment of their school expenses.
