They may have a hit on their hands.

"In the past few weeks the Nikon Z50 camera has moved up to the #1 spot at the BCNRanking (12/4, 12/11) and #2 spot at Map Camera."

The 30 day trial is kind of funny, since some stores are accepting returns until February 1.

This reminds of a marketing gimmick we used in DC....

We printed 40x60 portraits and let the client 'borrow them' with the instruction of returning it within thirty days if they did not like it. We had less than 10% returns!!!

If Nikon is banking on that (I am sure they are) they are about to make a killing.

They said so in the ad. They said they are confident that you will love it.

I love mine. These are with the 50-250 "kit" lens.

I got a chuckle reading the extended description of the photo where they compared it to the Z6. It was interesting how they would try and play down the Z6 and let you know the Z50 would be your best purchase. They word play very well in the ad.

You can bet this will result in a lot of refurbished Z50s becoming available.

It would be even better if you didn't have to shell out the cash first. That wouldn't be a good business plan, though.

To return you must call them. If you are put on hold you will have to wait.

No matter what Nikon does, no matter how good, there will be haters. Sounds familiar.

Who really cares... We are all going to stay with the brands we like to shoot with and talk trash about all the others. Reminds me of marketing scams like Popeyes where artificial low supply was induced to build demand.
