Can you tell me what's the difference between the dc-fz80pp-k and the dc-fz80p-k models. I'm considering buying one and don't see any difference between the P and PP models.

I never heard of the pp-k or p-k. The USA version is the FZ-80, and those sold outside the USA are called the FZ-82. Both are the same camera. The predecessor to the FZ-80 was the FZ-70. I had a chance to buy that camera, as a closeout Sale, two years ago, for less than $200. I changed my mind, and went back to the store the next day. All three remaining cameras had been sold. Panasonic may have a holiday price for the FZ-80. The FZ-80 sells for $297 at regular price. It has the tiny 1/2.3" sensor. Not the 1" sensor, that are in the higher priced Bridge cameras. It has good reviews. Welcome to the forum too.
I believe that the camera model itself is just DC-FZ80 and the additional characters indicate different packaging options.
