I agree, I like the first one. It has more contrast. I do like high key photos, but I think the first one separates them from the bg more.

Oddly enough... I prefer the lighter one!!
Yep... me... the high-contrast, high color queen... prefers the lighter one.
That couple is sharing a sacred, warm, "light", loving, moment...a melding of the spirits, so for me, it is better represented by the lighter one.
Personal preference only...

Prefer #1, the properly exposed photo. You can do what you want after that but recognize #1 is the place to start.

number 1 has more warmth and realism. the white blown out sky of number 2 is distracting for me.

i like the way the people are processed in the first one but I think the background id distracting and I prefer the background of the secone one.
