Take a Photo class, they said, you'll have fun, they said...
You meet some great people...but....There has to be a better way to evaluate negatives!
I’d watch negatives with her. I used to do it that way myself sometimes.
Anyone know a way to make "contact sheets" from jpegs?
Lots of ways. Google "contact sheets from jpegs"
Paint Shop Pro has this feature. I suspect Photoshop has this as well.
LR does contact sheets. So does Windows print menu.
I used a small light box and a loupe when I did negatives

Per viewing the negatives, there might not be a better way unless you have a light box. (They're easy to build.) The star of the show is the guy attempting to use a DSLR to get a diagnostic x-ray of his pancreas.
