I think the B17 is a great photographic subject. And I think the rain environment can be interesting, especially for those airframes with an aluminum skin. Thanks for sharing your shots.

It looks like, I'm assuming #4 engine is just firing up with the different speed of the prop and all the smoke. I think I can actually hear the whine of the starters and awesome sound the radial engines produce when they come to life. Excellent photos.

Great shots of a B-17G. My father used to do business with some German manufacturers in the 70's and used to tell them that he hadn't needed a passport to visit in the past. He was obviously a very sensitive guy from the 8th Air Corp.
