I've done this before. Those of you who like an editing challenge and don't get a chance to play with these types of images, here you go. Not a great photo, not terrible either. There's that annoying fold in the background, the wrinkly sheet, and it's a tiny bit underexposed. I am uploading a full size, straight off the camera file or you can follow the OneDrive link to get the raw file. The raw file doesn't look nearly as dark as the upload.

Just a very quick suggestion, inspired by that excellent look back pose from your Model.

A quick attempt. Cropped. Darkened background and sheets. Highlighted eyes and lipstick. Ironed your sheets. LOL

Thanks for the edits. As in the modern classroom where our kids and grand-kids struggle with "New Math", there is no wrong answer here. Please keep at it, get creative if you like.

This is from a set of photos that really weren't planned, at least not by me. It was shortly before Thanksgiving. We were all getting ready to leave the studio and my wife's best friend said, "wait, I have something Hokie I want you to shoot". This was a jab at my Alma Mater, Va Tech. So she pulls out two orange bows and a dollar store Thanksgiving centerpiece. My wife thinks it's a fun idea and they start looking for where in the room this is going to happen.

They slide an air mattress over to a white corner and put a white sheet on it. Her friend pushes a potted palm into the frame on the left. Why? Hell if I know. My wife had just shot some photos in a dress wearing the hose you see, and she had ditched the dress and pulled on a plum tank top. She was changing to go home.

So she gets up on the mattress and is going to pull of the tank top so they can put the bows on her nipples. Suddenly, our ADHD friend/assistant says, "Wow, you should shoot a few photos just like this" and hands her a scarf that I still don't know where the hell it came from.

A couple of frames later, her friend pulls down the wrinkled red background and I shoot that setup too. That's where this photo came from. Next, they're pulling down the tank top and putting on some strange bra because the colors in the strap match the scarf. At this point I'm really regretting not having a bigger lunch.

My friend that owns the studio is editing photos and he can care less how long we stay there. They keep him entertained. Every once in a while, he'll grab his camera and stand beside me and shoot both of them trying to figure out what comes next. Better than coffee, he says.

Finally, over an hour later, we have boobs with bows and a paper turkey that says, "Give Thanks". I have a couple of hundred extra images and a couple of gag shots that I won't be sharing with family at the Thanksgiving table. I'm just glad to start packing my gear.

I have been a regular reader of HH (hedgehog) but have posted just a few images.
Well, I needed to up some of my editing skills so since I do not take images of nudes this edit challenge seemed like a bit of a lark. Nevermind that the story sounded like a truckload of giggles and fun was had in the prepping and the resulting images where all seemed to be just a blast for the model and assistants. So anyway here is my submission.

The background is from a friend's AirBnB in St. Louis MO USA. I have stayed there while attending the Shutterfest conference. There is quite a bit of grain due to the ISO setting so the matching of the model is not really as close as I would like. I did not want to add noise. Thanks for letting us have some fun too.

Here's my shot at editing, but not much needs done to such a gorgeous model!

Infinite ISO,

I have been a big fan of your work and I thank you for this challenge. As a relative newcomer to digital photo development and post processing I have been working on my photo development skills and workflow. Your challenge came at a perfect time for me as I am beginning to explore post processing. I work in Darktable and GIMP and thought your picture would be perfectly placed on the beach here in the sunny Dominican Republic.

I appreciate any feedback or criticism so I may improve my post processing work.

Thank you,
Claude
