Tom, the D810 is a US model. Fotocare is the top camera store for professionals in NYC and does not sell
grey market merchandise. Over the past 10 years I have purchased all of my equipment from them.

Quick check shows those cameras with s/n starting with "3" or "30" are USA models. If that is correct, then this unit is a USA model.

Never heard of them that I remember. How do they compare with B & H which I purchase most of my equipment from? That is a really good price for that camera I own D800 and D810. Why are you selling if I can ask. Thanks

Hi Tom: Fotocare serves the professional working photographer. They are located on West 22nd street here in NYC. I have bought all of my equipment from them and have a close relationship with Jeff Hirsch who is the business owner. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and will do whatever is necessary to help you out with information or special equipment you may want to buy or rent for a shooting assignment. You can check their website for more info: fotocare.com. B&H is a different operation with a huge inventory depth targeted at the photo consumer.

Also, the serial number starts with a 3, indicating that it is not "grey" (the 3 is used for US models).

rfmaude41, re your statement that "..the 3 is used for US models...", does that hold true for all Nikon US models? My D5600 SN starts with a "3".

Thanks.
