Morning controversial coffee post !!

Wacom guys and ladies, I'm with you, but the curve is curving against me....hopefully some day soon !!

So 'til that day comes, what are the best mouse options you've found ??
And, Yes, I did a search, and there's nothing new !!!

Thanks to those who respond...advanced Happy Holidays !!

What is the issue? Pick a mouse that feels good in the hand and that is responsive. No one can chose a mouse for you. Its a very personal decision. If you can't see or hold it before you buy then its all guess work.

Have you fine tuned how your computer responds to the way you move your mouse??

FWIW, I prefer a trackball.

I switched to a trackball to avoid hand problems. My son has one that has the ball on the right thumb side, but it's not quite right for me. My new computer came with an optic mouse, and I'm going to be searching for a more ergonomic one that fits my wrist angle better. I hated the touchpad that was on my laptop and disabled it. I ordered my new computer without it. The important thing is to avoid repetitive stress injuries like carpal tunnel and ganglion cysts.

I use a mouse and they can be a pain if dirty or without a good pad.

Me too. My hands dictate that I use a larger trackball, so I use Kensingtons.

You said mouse users only. I am a mouse only user.

I don't use a Waycom pen. I have tried two different versions of it. One I gave away. The other sits unused. I also tried the Apple iPad pen. It also sits unused. Maybe I'm not a pen person. I think the problem is the small pen-tablets are difficult to use. Some, those talented in the drawing arts, have no problem with them. Those of us not gifted with the drawing art, will have difficulty with the smaller pen tablets. Maybe the larger ones would work better for us. I am not willing to spend the money to find out.

As for the best mouse? I prefer the wired versions as they are much much lighter than the wireless and they do not lose connectivity. Beyond that there are many variations that cater to personal preferences.

Pick one that looks appealing, you can always toss it and buy another if you don't like it. It's just a mouse, they are cheap.

The main thing you need for your mouse is clear space on your desk.
And that's why I'm a trackball user.
