I am sampling ON1 as an organization and editing software with their free trial. It has no slideshow creation module. If I stay with it and cut the Adobe cord, I would like some slideshow software.

For any UHH’s who are not using LR/PS and create slideshows, what software are you using to do so?

ProShow Gold is always the popularity winner. Any video editor works well. I use Premiere Elements.

Another ProShow Gold user. Excellent program, but someone on UHH recently said the company may no longer be offering support. Not sure about that.

I use On1, but I could not imagine using it without Lr and Ps. For slideshows I use ProShow from Photodex.

I’m not a pro. I am a rank amateur. Have not used ON1 long, but edited about 800 photos today and found it does pretty much everything this amateur needs. Perhaps I’ll want more features later, but I can always restart the Adobe subscription plan if I feel a strong enough need. In the Pro Show Gold better than what’s in the LR slideshow?

Check on Ashampoo, when doing a wedding I bought an expensive program and then got the Ashampoo ad and downloaded it and found it superior... yes price much lower... but quality and abilities higher.

Another vote for ProShow Gold. I've been using it for 5 years. Great slideshow software.

Does not look like this software will burn DVD?

I have used Photodex Proshow Gold for many years. You may download a free trial. It's pretty friendly with excellent tech support.

Good luck,

Any video editor will work. Don't forget that PowerPoint will make auto running slide shows with full narration if you would like. If not, you can manually go through the slides.
