Are there any photography (non-professional) magazines still in print that are worthwhile?
I know Popular Photography slammed the door not long ago, but are any others still around?

Outdoor Photographer is still around but it has been shrinking. Will it survive? Hard to know.

I subscribe to PhotoPlus from the UK. It is devoted to Canon. I believe there is also a Nikon related one - not sure of the name - plus a generic one. I think I have seen them for sale in Barnes and Noble.

The Nikon version on that UK magazine is N-Photo. Subscription rate is $110 per year. Not cheap by a long shot.

I get all of my photo magazines via the Zino app on my iPad; Outdoor Photographer, N-Photo and used to get Shutterbug before they quit.

They are very expensive, but unlike most of the US magazines, past and present, PhotoPlus and N-Photo are mostly content with a relatively small amount of advertising. Additionally they are printed on high quality stock. Yes, you are paying a lot more for them, but you are also getting a lot more from them.

There is also Outdoor Photography, from the UK, not to be confused with Outdoor Photographer from the US.

Excellent content, and only $30.99 USD for a digital subscription.

Also I think available from Amazon on some Kindle devices.

I usually go to Barnes & Nobel a couple miles from my residence. If something in the mag interest me I'll buy it. For me , Outdoor Photographer, Nature Photography. But there others.

Digital Camera, from the UK, is expensive but worth every dollar. Not camera specific, written by photographers with very creative articles. Example: 10 ways to break the rules and get amazing results. I renew every year, and yes, about $110.

There is a similar one devoted to NIKON (Nphoto), but if you're a CANON user have you tried EOS magazine, a quarterly print issue by CANON enthusiasts.

Outdoor Photographer. I am not sure what you mean by non-professional, do you mean, "easy to understand?". If so, OP is a good all around publication.
