Taken with Nikon P900, handheld, at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Sorry, wasn’t out in the wild. The blur on the left side of shot of the bear on the log is courtesy of the heavy wire mesh fence that divided the bear from us. Just for information, the AWCC is a place where wild animals that have, for the most part been injured or young separated from their parent, are being cared for or rehabilitated. Some are released back into the wild, while others can never be released.

Very nice. I guess if you're posting the bear didn't eat you!

Nope, there was a very stout heavy wire mesh fence keeping Yogi on one side and us on the other.

Excellent shots Greg.
Thank you, Jim. Glad you liked those.
Yo WingPilot. Forgive the intrusion, but I just got a lens adopter for my GF3C. Nikon <D> lens with aps wheel (must have). Got a Sigma 70-300 from Samy's (L.A.) cheap. Figured out installation and am ready to shoot. Any suggestions for making good use of 300mm? Have 2 other lens for the GF (wide & zoom), so I'm all set. By the way I haven't held my D750 in weeks. Got lots of pix down in the harbor (live in San Pedro)
with the GF and my FZ200. Oh how I LUV photography!! Thanks, Greg. Peter
Many thanks, again. Is this a great forum, or what?
