UP 4014 Westbound through Abilene, KS

Today, the Big Boy appeared in Abilene, KS enroute to Salina, KS leading a mixed consist of passenger cars and 10 3-bay covered hoppers. I set-up 100 yds + from the tracks so I would have basically a clear field of view. While waiting, I got the surprise of the day when a young man walked up and asked if he could climb down into the creek bed area and not be in my way shooting. Told him go ahead. So young man, if you are on this mailing list, I say Thank You for the respect that you showed & I hope your shots from the bank are what you wanted. Second shot is after the UP 4014 had crossed the diamond with the BNSF heading west.
