I found these two girls living in the creepiest part of my basement -- in the sump pump well under a webby wooden cover. The first I think is a hacklemesh weaver (Callobius bennetti) that lives on the underside of the cover. The second I think is a wolf spider of some sort, Pardosa species maybe. She was hanging out on the sides of the well. Canon 100mm macro. Comments for improvement welcomed.

Thank you Brenda! I believe she is a Amaurobius ferox. Only the male was pictured in my ID book!
