This is a top view of the Harlequin True Bug that Bill provided me. The setup used is the same as the previous posts of this insect.

I want to get the most out of each subject so I will be posting various views for different points of viewing interest.

Thanks in advance to all who view and for your comments, suggestions, questions and critique.

Brenda, I've yet to see one marked like this also. Bill gave me several of them and they stood out the moment I looked at them. They are truly a beautifully colored creature. Too bad that they are considered to be such a pest to gardeners.

Like your last, a marvelous creation. How many stacked images with this one?

Thanks for asking for I truly enjoy sharing. Because I needed to fit the entire subject into view to fill the frame I used an Laowa 60mm f/2.8 Super 2X macro set at 2X and f/5.6. I use a variety of lens and enlargement methods depending on the physical size of the specimen. I shoot in full frame and I fill the frame with the subject so that I do not have to crop the image. Illumination for this image was the translucent drink cup with a piece of black velvet in the back and paper towel diffusion for the constant lighting.

This focus stacked image was processed with 168 images with Zerene Stacker.
