You might remember I posted this plant a couple of weeks ago. This is different no blossoms are added just some water. My wife watered the plant and had it draining in the kitchen sink when I got the idea of an overhead shot. I have a flat 24 x 24 flat clear glass that I propped and raised off the floor about 10 inches. Placed a speed light under the glass and put a blue gel over the flash. Then added a scrim on top of the glass. Placed my camera directly over the plant with the help of my tripod. Held two led lights around the plant and had my wife hit the camera shutter release. Took several shots and used the best lighting in each to make the final picture. Shot with a wide angle lens.

Now thinking back I guess this is my wife's photo since she hit the shutter release.🤔

Thanks Tazzy. Tried all kinds of positions and finally settled on the straight overhead shot.
