The only way to get to Suilven is on foot, and even getting moderately close is a bit of a hike. Getting this close involved a climb and a tromp across some open moor.

I got a better appreciation for the terrain you had to navigate from a wide angle shot I saw after googling Cul Mor. Your efforts are very well rewarded.

Thank you fergmark. Boggy ground is the usual hazard, especially just after heavy rain (which is most of the time in the west ), but that morning it wasn't bad. You probably noticed that crossing the landscape is unavoidably going to involve uneven terrain.

Another wonderful shot. When I was younger I loved desolate places, high mountains, deserts, places with no people. Now I'm only able to see them through the eyes of people like you. Keep the shots coming and please don't tell me this was shot from a Mc Donald's parking lot. lol

Thanks. I met two groups of people that day, both of them on the path that leads to Stac Pollaidh. To get this shot I didn't have the luxury of a path, and definitely no MacDonalds anywhere to be seen .
